Michael is a CPA and a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is charter member of the Advance team, working side-by-side with Joel Adelman since the company began in 1998. After graduating from Cleveland State with a degree in accounting and earning his CPA, Michael served as a CPA with J.K. Lasser & Co., a controller with Tradin’ Times, Inc., and CFO for Blue Coral, Inc.

As he reflects on the first decade of Advance and its position in the industry today, Michael says, “We have a strong business model that’s stood the test of time. We’ve expanded and added products carefully and strategically; I’m proud of our standing as the largest independent funder to the staffing industry.”

A fixture at Advance, habitually working long hours and weekends, Michael relaxes by walking his Shetland Sheepdogs and hitting the links, exclaiming when asked to state his handicap, “I don’t have to have a low handicap to love it!” Enough said.
